Our IDC Preparation Course ( 1 - 2days )

We would like to invite you to our COMPLIMENTARY Prep course.

Candidates taking the PADI Instructor Development Course are expected to have a good knowledge of diving academics and demonstration-quality pool skills. Maybe it has been some time since your Divemaster training or you may have not been active in assisting with classes. Perhaps you are just not entirely confident about your level of expertise. If either of these situations applies in your case, this is why our IDC Preparation Course is a must for all candidates.

This course will alleviate those fears and will thoroughly prepare you to enter the IDC with added confidence in academics and confined water skill demonstrations.

We frequently have IDC candidates who are not comfortable with Physics or the Dive Tables (especially The Wheel) or they are unable to perform pool skills to demonstration quality.

During the IDC Preparation Course we will work closely with you to eliminate your individual difficulties, before the IDC begins. During the IDC you can then concentrate on preparing your IDC assignments, rather than devoting time to reviewing material and skills you should have covered thoroughly in your Divemaster Course.

Tip: It is highly recommended that you purchase a Diving Knowledge Workbook and answer all the questions. This is the best way to prepare for your IE Exams.

EFR is part of several PADI certification levels (Rescue, Divemaster, AI and OWSI). Therefore, it is one of the most marketable courses in the PADI System and allows you to offer all-inclusive programs.

You do not have to send your student elsewhere to complete their diving education.
Also since the EFR course is not diving specific, you can offer this training to all your customers, friends and family.

Also, anyone who is a PADI Divemaster or above can become an Emergency First Response Instructor.

During the Emergency First Response Instructor course, you will build on your skill as an Emergency Responder and focus on developing your instructional abilities to teach these skills to others. The Instructor course provides you with the additional training necessary to teach the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid) and Care for Children courses. (Region-specific courses including First Aid at Work Asia Pacific and First Aid at Work Great Emergency First Response Instructor courseBritain require additional training.)

Through a multi-media approach of independent study, classroom sessions and practical teaching assignments, you learn to conduct Emergency First Response courses.

The instructor course covers specific goals and performance requirements for the Primary Care, Secondary Care and Care for Children courses, along with instruction on how to structure learning, the requirements of performance-based training, and your role as the instructor in the learning environment.

You also learn how to motivate students, evaluate student knowledge, present course content effectively, become proficient in developing students' hands-on skills practice sessions, and are taught how to present an effective scenario-based learning experience.
